IT Field Technician
Level: starting-Mid level position
A growing small size IT Service Company in midtown Manhattan is looking for an IT Field Technician.
This is a starting position, but has growth opportunity as our company expands.
Job Description:
-Provide onsite and remote IT Service to current clients.
-Establish and maintain hardware and software at work stations.
-Provide server maintenance and administration for server 2000, 2003 and 2008.
-Monitor and support backup logs.
-Perform operating systems and software updates and upgrades for all computer platforms.
-Repair viruses and other software issues.
-Respond to system user various requests for assistance
Required Skills:
2 years experience as an IT Field Technician-part time experience will be considered
Must have experience and understanding of Sever 2000, 2003 and 2008
Knowledge in router and firewall
Knowledge of Windows XP Professional
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 Professional
Must be customer support oriented
Good verbal communication skills
Bachelor degree in IT, computer science or related field is preferred
Must be eligible to work in the US
